Also, “where is he going to gun?” Remember, he stepped into a third party attack so, he more than likely he had some opportunity to draw the gun from a distance and issue commands to stop if he had a gun. If anything, it would have probably driven the perp off. However, it’s NYC, so the good guy has no lawful right to carry, concealed or open, which is WRONG in my opinion.
Great info for us Older folks , I personal do not allow anyone near me out in public. I always leave space and when it get encroached I say "Stop ! I do not know you back away" it sounds nuts but it works. The way I feel yes ,I'm that crazy old dude! The tactic here would be throw your body into his and take him down over that bike.
