Police Activity uploaded the raw footage and it includes dash cam and body cam footage of the officer who pinned him with his truck. You were %100 accurate about putting yourself right in the line of fire. The suspect (who was 18) immediately turned and begin firing at that officer both through his windshield and his door. Who else thought that the truck that crashed into the other truck was the perps and you where worried when he got out of the car and made his way towards the police officer near the street light
This is another good example of an advantage 9mm has over 40. After he reloaded I counted 14 shots to empty, meaning it’s a 40. Even if 40 has noticeably better effect on target(with modern duty 9mm loads it really DOESNT), what good is it if you aren’t hitting. My department unfortunately only issues two spare mags but that’s a combat loadout of 52 rounds. If this guy only has two reloads his combat loadout is 43 rounds. That’s a pretty substantial difference.
