This is one of the lest violent robberies I have seen on your channel. But for it to be the "Houston Treatment", there had to be some shooting.( And I am glad there was no shooting or violence)
Why would you ever, and I mean EVER, risk your life for someone else's property, especially if it's insured anyway? If you're a bank clerk, you cooperate with robbers since it ain't your money they are stealing- this doesn't seem much different in my eyes. If your job description doesn't involve security/protection, don't ever put your life in danger for a thing, especially if it ain't yours. That said, risking your life for your own property is another matter, and depends on the balance of power.
I’d say that was a good move on the clerks part. The guy’s not stealing from him and doesn’t seem to want to hurt him. Since the guy had a distance tool, he stayed close enough to the perp to have a chance to fight back if things went south.
Sometimes I think John Korea is a fucking moron He says are you gonna stop this dude with a magnum pointed at you over a cell phone no I'm not I'm not gonna die over a phone Bro
Don’t understand the Houston comment. While Houston has become a shithole city under Turner, Acevedo, Ogg, and Hidalgo, I still don’t understand the jab. Is it because the criminal didn’t want to hurt the clerk? Is it because the criminal was polite? What is the Houston treatment and how does it compare to say NY, LA, SF, Chicago, etc?
Guy is probably making 4 dollars n hour in Costa Rica let him take whatever he wants don’t try to be a hero for a store owner that don’t give a shit for he’s employees n loose your life 🤣🤙🏽
If all he wants is stuff from the business then I'm gonna turn into salesman of the year. "You'll probably want one of these phones too. How about a stove? A refrigerator?"
So he steals a demo phone that’s connected to a company with a paper trail attached to it…🤔 I don’t think he took enough time weighing the pros and cons of this heist lol.
Sometimes, the display phones have their own sim card and account, and that account has unlimited calls/minutes/texts/data. Thief may have been after that, instead of a person's phone, that he knows is going to lose service on him in a week when the owner transfers service to a new card/phone.
Only an idiot would risk his life for goods in a store. Especially when you're unarmed and the bad guy IS ! NO BRAINER
He said that gun down I'm giving them before knuckle tattoo on his ear it will not stop till the twitching is done

Generally speaking demo phones are just that. Not fully working models.
The dude probably said "I don't want your stuff, I just want that phone."
Clerk: "Go ahead and take it!"
Clerk doesn't get paid enough to care lol.

Well if you did get shot you would still have your phone to call for help I say go for it… NOT
Stop him? I'd bag it up for him with a smile.
I don't know man that clerk messed up that cell phone was totally worth sacrificing my life for
Not gonna risk it over a stupid phone
Why is this 🤡 bringing up Houston? Doesn't he realize many of his subscribers are from Houston?
i'm not risking my life for a phone lol, the right answer is to let him have it
A rather modest robber. Stole exactly what he wanted and left… Interesting.
the man did the right thing, he clearly wanted a phone not a fight. just let him take it, let law enforcement deal with it.
I would have stepped in as soon as he started fiddling with his back pack.
Let him go, not worth your life.

Smart man, my phone's not worth my life

Let him have that phone. He is not even pointing the gun anymore. Get away from there.
Over a demo phone, id have let him have it
Hey, hey now.. relax with the Houston comparisons.. haha
For anyone who works retail, if the gunman wants stuff in the store just comply.
