This is why I love your channel. Y'all cover the basics that people forget about or don't even know. Use everything and anything you have to stop the threat. Great video guy. My wife loved it too
I actually have used a key against an attacker. I cut his face with it while he was choking me. I think that shocked him and he let me go. The crazy thing is, when the cops showed up, they asked him if he wanted to press charges against me, because he was the one who was bleeding and I wasn't! Luckily he said no, but I was pissed that they even considered that. He outweighed me by 100 pounds, and the neighbors had called the cops when they heard me screaming. Seemed ridiculous that I could have been the one going to jail for defending myself. But that's the world we live in I guess:( But regardless, a simple key can save your life!
Any particular reason you recommend the knuckle over a hammer fist? I realize this is a life or death fight, but how would those compare in effectiveness versus potential damage to your own hand?
I really like you guys. I find your advise and techniques very practical, but the biggest draw for me is you're always clearly about defense. Your egos are clearly in check and it's refreshing to learn from someone who doesn't come across as bad ass warriors proclaiming kill or be killed. I've reduced my subscribed videos to yours and one other, a taichi instruction channel. I would love to come train with you two 👍Thank you sincerely for your work
