Mark Lee says:

The cop sending the video with the negligent discharge also left his keys in the cruiser’s tailgate.
Although I’m happy to see a repeat felon off the street, but at a range of over 100’ I don’t think the perp posed much of a threat in terms of accurate fire/likelihood of hitting the cops who had decent cover. The perp was cornered and there was ample opportunity to begin de-escalating the situation, which it doesn’t seem we see enough of.

3/22 @36 yrds seems like maybe they should have waited or gotten closer rather to put that much lead into a neighborhood, especially for a car thief. Come back at 3am for him. Seems pretty risky. Thanks John

Lon Cornelius says:

I was a old school officer using 357 revolver when I finally transitioned to a glock 19, I had many stove pipes. I found out later it was because I was still using the revolver cup and saucer grip. I have since changed the grip but the technique I used on stove pipes still works. “ Release the off hand. Still pointing at target rotate the glock 180 degrees counter clockwise. Pull slide back hard and hold a second with off hand with muzzle still on target. Gravity will remove the casing. Let slide snap back to battery. Rotate glock 180 degrees clockwise while starting to reacquire the strong proper grip. During the entire evolution the muzzle and your eyes never leave the target. Hope this helps.

Dino says:

But according to Biden, cops need to shoot to the leg and need to have psychologist with them to "deescalate" the situation…

Dennis Ammann says:

When I 1st saw the video I thought, how on Earth are we supposed to make out anything from this video? Then John does his magic, pointing out key still video shots and arrows concerning what was going on, even using shadows to explain. I’m so glad the police officers were unharmed, may God watch over them always. Great work John our host! 🙂👍

If you have a limited distance range, use smaller silhouette targets and practice tighter groups at all distances.
