Briton cops are professionals. Not like the US cops who when to do a welfare check on an elderly black man in Vegas (?) and end up killing him because he had a small 3-inch paring knife. This guy had two 8-inch knives and the Brits still took him in without even scratching him. Brit cops have gone so long without using guns, they know how to deal with shit. All US cops know how to do is pull triggers. I would've offered him a Big Mac combo for the knives.
I always feel bad for these police departments without the tools to properly defend themselves. With what they had though….I think they could have made that taser attempt much safer had they not opened the door so far initially… just enough to use the taser but still enough to have a barrier.
