Why Semi-Automatic Guns Are Better for Self-Defense

Unless you get a jam or a dud. With a revolver all you do is pull the trigger again. With a semiauto you have to clear it. That could mean your life. But, a Glock or a Sig seldom jam, unless the round is a dud. Are you willing to bet your life? It is a personal choice. Buy cheap ammo to practice but quality ammo to carry. Carry and carry often, and vote often too!
Which is why Civilians must be allowed to acquire Semi-Automatic weapons to defend themselves against Criminals and Terrorists that get Full Automatic Weapons like AK-47 from Illegal Gun Runners.

The three most important things, other than 'mindset,' are the proper grip, the proper stance–the third is the most important and the one most overlooked–choose a weapon that has a grip that fits your hand!!! If the grip doesn't fit your hand it will be impossible too get a proper grip. Too large and it will be impossible to secure and steady the weapon and increase the felt recoil. Too small and the weapon will be 'loose' in your hand again, making it impossible to secure and steady the weapon, again increasing the felt recoil. A grip that does not fit your hand will also have a negative effect on your accuracy. I have a Ruger super blackhawk ( a single action .44 magnum revolver) I can shoot it all day long and not be bothered a bit. A friend has a Ruger Redhawk in ( a double action .44 magnum revolver with a much larger grip) which he let me shoot.. Five rounds and I was done. The grip was much too large for my hand and the recoil was actually painful. I also have a Glock 17 (9mm semi auto) which I can shoot all day long with no problem. I purchased a Ruger LCP (380 semi auto) I shot 7 rounds through it (a magazine plus one in the tube) before I quit. I had a deep bruise on the web of my hand between my thumb and forefinger because the grip was too small for my hand. I got a rubber sleeve for the grip, making it larger. It now fits my hand and I have no problem shooting it. If this is a display of your knowledge of firearms, I strongly suggest you choose a different subject for your videos. Bullet weight is also a factor as is the weight of the weapon. a 240 grain 44 magnum bullet has significantly more recoil than a 200 grain bullet. Also there's the weight of the firearm to consider. A handgun that weighs three and one half pounds will have significantly more felt recoil than one that weighs five pounds firing the same ammo. You wasted an opportunity to up load an informative video instead of this ignorant nonsense. By the way, I'm a 74 year old Vietnam war veteran that is 5' 6" tall and weighs 142 lbs on a 'heavy' day.
also most semis are single action pulls. now you can train for double action pull but why make shooting any harder than it needs to be. especially if your life is being threatened with deadly force.
also, notice the muzzle awareness at the end when A-Dub almost steps in front of her. Good job, Jackie!
