That's a pretty clean jail. Not very crowded either. If the imates weren't wearing uniforms and the deputy wearing street clothes you would think this was on a college campus. I've seen college halls that didn't look as nice. Obviously these are low risk offenders and one inmate slipped through the cracks but they need one more deputy up there. It seems like it would be easy to throw someone over the guardrail also.
I volunteer at our state's largest prison. There are inmates who would help and others who wouldn't. This officer must be well liked, meaning he's fair and not quick to punish anytime someone does something silly. Some officers where I am aren't any better than many of the inmates. I salute officer Guzman.
That actually a pretty nice looking detention center. I'm assuming the food still sucks.
The officer is clearly pretty lenient as to having inmates respect the tape boundaries. Several inmates were leaning on the desk, should have been ordered to back off. Most people don't want infractions and restriction in a detention center. Odds are most people in here haven't been sentenced or convicted of anything, and offering assistance to the officer can only look good on your character when you go before a judge.
Who are the brainless architects that designs these facilities and why are they not locked up as well. I know people make mistakes but if one is to the point where they have to live and sleep in a locked cage how is it appropriate for low paid corrections employees to be placed in amongst them to be perpetually at risk of violence? Obviously the he system is broke.
