A drunk soldier in my platoon pulled a knife on me. I didn't flee, and so I spent a year in the hospital, 3 surgeries, and lifelong problems. I did get the knife away from him in the end, and I had the win, or so I thought till I woke up in the hospital
This guy seriously underestimated the amount of danger he was in, did not take the situation seriously enough and it cost him his life. It's pretty frequent people don't seem to take knife attacks seriously. To me that's scarier than a gun if someone is coming at you with a blade.
Can you not describe them by race? "Not the long hair they both have long hair one has darker long hair that guy he's the one his perspective is who I'm talking about here." all of that to avoid saying "black".
Once my dog, who was unleashed, got into a "dogfight/argument" with a homeless dudes dog. Next week I'm walking him unleashed, since he was always very sweet (though a bit of a tough guy when I came to other dogs) and met the homeless dude who was drunk. He came up to me and threatened to steal my dog and wanted to fight, I talked him down even though he was much smaller than me.
As I walked away he shouted "are you packing? I doubt it", meaning a weapon which in his case 90% of times would be a knife…joke of it all, is I was packing and my knife was stuck in my waist, but he didn't know that.. so you see how it could have gone down quick…
I stoped walking my dog unleashed and crossed him some more times and never even looked at each other…I'm sure his life is hard enough.
Why did he turn his back on someone who had a knife! Guys we have to get out of there if someone has a weapon don try to be a hero. This is super sad! Rip brother we need to stop this!!! 😞
“Why didn’t anyone step in?” ….. both of these guys just fell out of the “stupid tree” and hit every branch on the way down. I would personally not have touched this with a 10 tf pole.

That could have happened to either one of them. He had every chance to run away, or not bang on someone’s window escalating an ego fight, or not spike his heart rate up after he was stabbed. Hopefully the other guy is caught.

It’s ok to run from a fight, but he probably didn’t see the knife until it hits him
He had so many opportunities to walk away. That was a perfect counter ambush.
