Closing the distance in this case actually is the right play, tactically speaking, driver can't aim at our defender very well from that angle while in a truck while our defender has both hands on his gun being able to (if needed) deliver much more accurate shots at the aggressor, 90% chance the driver was right handed, so even harder to get accurate shots out the window at such a weird angle while you're ALSO taking fire, so staying in that "blind spot" was a pretty slick move, could it have gone bad? 100%, every encounter can "go bad", thankfully it didn't here, but that was a more sound plan to drive the dude off, if he had ran back to hide behind his car or gotten back in, good chance the dude might have turned around to come back given how clearly psychotic they are

My everyday carrier is my clock 43 with crimson reddot laser site built-in to it. I have a custom built pocket holster, and my backup is a Ruger lcp custom I have in my ankle holster. I practice with them atleast twice a week, and my go to riffle is a creedmoor AR-10 6.5 with a tangent theta TT525 series 5 25 56mm 34mm tube ffp rifle scope, its pretty much a mile away bullseye everytime.
