This channel inspired me to buy an OC spray. Guns in my country are illegal. I live in a very small city in eastern EU. But still, you hear about home break ins, fights in the city, even murders from time to time. Good to know you have that pain juice in your pocket if God forbid shit hits the fan.

Never carried OC until I started CC, always have an alternative less than lethal, it could prevent a lifetime of grief.

What is meant by 'spiritual fitness'?
Does that mean that you should be 'right with god'?
What about folks who don't worship the invisible sky gods?
Is there anything in that statement for them?
This is a genuine question,not a troll comment..

I’ve had to bless 2 men and several dogs with the hot sauce. 😂😂 Saved me the trouble of having to do anything else and it was VERY effective. 🤓🤓

@MacDrizzle209 says:

Used Def-Tec OC spray about 15x at work. Works great! I carry POM for personal use.

@jameswhitaker1324 says:

I used to work security on pill hill in Seattle. I had to trespass a LOT of people from our sites. I never had anyone get violent about it. Things have really changed in Seattle and not for the better. Didn’t carry oc back then, just a radio and a big flashlight, but I definitely do now.

3:39 as a security officer, you’re not a police officer. You have no duty to confront or deal with an aggressive individual. Observe and report.

@Aikibiker1 says:

I used OC spray while working security at a hospital. We had a violent pysch patient that was a former member of the75th ranger regiment and a current firefighter. So he knew how to fight and was in good shape. He bowed up with staff and one of our techs ran into to fight with him. The patient was about to stomp kick the side of the tech's knee cap when I hit him with a short blast of OC right in the face.

I honestly didn't expect it to do much against a guy with that kind of background. I was hoping to close his eyes long enough to tackle him so the rest of the staff present could pile on and we could restrain him. Instead the patent immediately gave up and stopped fighting. He ended up getting medicine and then decontaminated.

The hospital staff complained about me using the OC inside the hospital, but I still feel justified.

I am long moved on from that job, but I like to carry a small OIC canister in my pocket. I have a gun and a lot of martial art experience, but I would rather not shoot someone or turn them into a pretzel if I can avoid it. The OC is to give me the chance to avoid those bad outcomes.

@mattlauer4486 says:

Solid jawline John!

@charlesg-p5292 says:

Lets all appreciate how John is creative on pulling out sayings and expressions. You got me once again ! ; « it defenetly took the starch out of his jammies. » 😂👌

@KO-pk7df says:

If I'm outside the house my OC is positioned for instant access. In the house it is within reach just like my pew pew device.
As I have seen on this channel it is better than anything against an aggressor. It's great for that unlethal defense situation.

@paulrobinson1991 says:

I am proud of your weight loss journey. Could you grant me a request and grow your beard back 😂😂😂 love you bro

@CarrieJones-nj4bm says:

I always carry OC spray, except when flying since they are not allowed on planes.

@abefrohammer3105 says:

Holy ozempic.

@colleen31 says:

I'd love to hear the stories about you having to use OC spray. Four times!! 😊😊

@tucobakunin8250 says:

I'm 52 and live in one of the largest metropolitan areas in the country and have never had to use my OC. John, how many of the rules of stupid are you regularly violating to run up such a high number? Because wow, my guy.

@ramairgt2 says:

I carry OC and lethal.

@EvanFilm says:

The mace is ineffective in short term. Yea if the wind doesn't blow it all away maybe they will get some. But you run out fast. you only get a few chances. I've seen people run right through a mace cloud and they still have time to get strikes in. The person using the mace in that situation will also be in pain. It takes a while for the mace to begin to cause pain in a high adrenaline situation. Unless you get them in the eye up close.

@tedrufledtjr.3573 says:

POM is the best!

@jw5346 says:

So I finally starched my Jammie’s and WOW! Now I realize why you don’t want to lose it. Djt24

@lordvader4089 says:

There's something very disturbing about seeing John without a beard.

@sgtzsquad says:

Retired LEO, OC spray was always effective for me.

@Astrohhh says:

I bought some POM because I saw it on an ad on these videos.. and I keep it in my car. Not even a week after I got it, I had a road rage incident where a guy freaked out for no reason and started charging at me and yanked my door open. Let's just say he came to regret that decision. POM for the win.

@MarkTrades__ says:

"its seattle, so ya know they are gonna have problems like this" lol well said John
