I’ve used a whip and played around with it and trust me, not even whipping too fast I hit my arms a couple of times and there was blood. Don’t mess with a dude that carries a whip.
I was told you are supposed to wear knuckles like on the middle section of your fingers not the end segment? Idk how to explain that in text without showing, but essentially if you have the brass knuckles set in the way you were using them it will cause pain and discomfort because most of the impact is being pushed back into your hand instead of out towards the assailant in the other method. I could be entirely wrong, but I think that's what I recall hearing.
Someone in my family told me to never buy brass knuckles because it does you more damage then the other person, I didn’t think it was true since everyone uses them, until I got a hold hold of a pair myself. It hurt the hell out of my palm and my fingers.
Gotta wear the knuckles properly, when you’re holding them you want the holes to line up with your middle knuckles, wrist and forearm, otherwise they’ll twist like that
Your meant to put the dusters over the knuckles between your finger nail and knuckles if you get me. So half way up your fingers not at your actual knuckles, it will more look like a closed fist slap that hurts like fuck
