Carrying guns on a cruising sailboat is a really bad idea. Many countries require that guns be surrendered for the duration of your stay. They must be picked up upon leaving at the same port, which can be very inconvenient. Failing to disclose guns can result in serious jail time. Most countries DO NOT have the same lenient laws regarding firearms as the US. You face serious consequences for violating the laws of other countries.
If it involved pirates, then it was likely in the Arabian Sea, which is basically between Yemen and the Maldives. (The unedited link may have had a language translation problem.)
Man its the Red Sea, not the Adriatic Sea.
All the pirates had to do is wait for you to waste all your ammo on "warning shots"
I don't think wasting ammo in warning shots it's a bright idea either…
A grenade launcher would've been nice to have in this scenario.
Take position with a long range weapon and pick them off one by one. You'll be doing future victims a huge favor.
Dude this is a battle not duck hunting. So lucky they didnt pull a AK
I hope he at least had slugs in that tool, scatter shot would of been useless.

The Adriatic is in the Mediterranean, ie nowhere near the Maldives or Yemen.
Rest of crew should of picked up anything that looked like a gun and pointed it at them.
Just a quick one….. The Adriatic Sea is in the Mediterranean, this was the Indian Ocean
‘ I am the captain now’
