Just a damn shame that polymer knuckledusters are illegal, that would be
very manly, and wouldn’t add too much mass to your fist, so you wouldn’t
breaking bones in the face, like you would with real brass knuckles. Same
concept as the pit bull knuckleduster.

I do want to say that knives, even pocket knives, are still considered
lethal weapons legally, because they are capable of piercing/stabbing as
well as cutting injuries. It only takes 3″ to 3.5″ to pierce vital organs
in the body, in the torso region.

Also, if you cut in certain areas on the body, it will cause massive
hemorrhaging which can lead to circulatory shock, and ultimately death.

So knives are a dangerous things to use self defense wise, because if you
inappropriately use a knife in self defense, you will be charged with
Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon legally in a court of law, which
can carry a lengthy prison sentence based on what occurred.

But pepper spray, kubatons, and in most states those force multipliers,
like the dog knuckle duster, are legal to use. As always, it is wise to
check your local state laws.
