1. If a guy comes at me with a knife I’m not engaging him hand to hand,
that would be rather dumb and with the cane he’ll think twice about
starting anything in the first place. 2. Have you already forgotten what
you contacted me about? You’re surrounded by “thugs” (Ooooh black people!
scary!) and apparently don’t want to “just give them the money” 3. If you
shoot him in the back as he’s leaving that’s not self defence it’s
attempted murder. He’s not a threat at that point.
The other video you talk off was an old person…Grandparent who was being
mugged by guys with knife(or gun)and the video is trying to sell a
self-defense walking stick…so my comment was..just give them the money

with that??? Someone threatened my Mum or Dad with knife I’d shoot

im same age..i done alot of martial arts ect…but i now need a cane, due
to an old knee injury…do you need yours or just like to have it?? Please
let me know as i live inner city surrounded by thugs …who ALL carry
knives. I never used to worry…but my legs bad…i can do stick
fighting,so i believe a good solid stick would work in my favor. Message me

I’m not sure I can pull daily carry of a cane just yet, being in my mid
20’s, but I’m certainly not above keeping one in my car. They’re cheap,
legal everywhere, and very effective defensive tools (especially with some
training) that won’t raise too many eyebrows–especially if you look the
part. I still think we should be able to carry collapsible batons, though,
even more so if you have a concealed carry permit (some jurisdictions may
allow it but not my state, unfortunately, which is fairly
@wcropp1 gun friendly). Same with fixed blades unless you want to be a
legal guinea pig and argue that it’s not a “dirk” or “bowie knife.” These
laws really are ridiculous when you consider that a myriad of other
perfectly legal objects can just as easily be used as bludgeons and shanks.
I suppose canes, Mag-Lites, folding knives and guns will just have to do
for now.
If the presentor lives to my age, and truly needs a cane for support along
with self defense, he will understand why standard hook canes are harder to
use.
I think it is great he wants to be able to defend himself after all he is
still all man and for us men that is important to know we can defend
ourself.However, we should not over look the use of a cell phone with video
camra and a good memory system to remember numbers and details to our
locations so the police can assist us when we arein need.

enjoy it, you’re more worried about some assailant attacking you for the
$20 you have in your wallet than appreciating art or relics. Perhaps the
reason they take the 5 concealed guns, knives and modified walking aids
from you is to protect the normal people from paranoid rednecks such as
yourself? How many innocent people are killed every year at the hands of
over-armed deluded wankers like you? A lot i’m sure.
I’m only 30 and I carry a cane with me. Great for self defence, tells
potential attackers to move onto someone not holding a hunk of oak, and a
police officer can’t really say much.

I did mess my own knee up a bit years ago but I can certainly walk on my
own. Just can’t take the 3km hikes I used to.
