Self-defense: Times Square street performer kicks guy in the face for robbery attempt – TomoNews
NEW YORK — Video of a street performer kicking a robber in the face went viral in October 2015.
The video, captured in New York City’s Times Square, shows a gold-clad street performer standing still and acting like a statue. A man then tries to steal money from the street performer’s tip basket.
That’s when the street performer took matters into his own hands and kicked the robber in the face, sending him to the ground.
It’s unclear whether the thief needed medical attention or if the incident was reported to police.
