I think in a country where guns aren't legally accessible this is a good off hand weapon. Personally I'm good at punching so I could definitely do work with these
I think it's good as a defensive weapon. It can block any melee strike from a intruder and punching with it would cause a fair bit of damage. Personally I like it a lot but I'd add padding to the shield side
I can see this working for law enforcement. For those moments when you don't quite need a gun, but you wanna bust through a car window to get a bad guy armed with a club or small blade. Could also work in combination with a taser
"Something defensive can only protect you…" watch me ram that glass breaker front tip into an attackers face before I smash that toothed aluminium back into the chest of another one. Also remember I still have the other arm for offense.
Doesn't make sense to me. It can't replace a baseball bat. A bat has longer reach and lever arm so does more damage. The main advantage however is that its a sports implement and it can be used for self defense as a side benefit. Buying a dedicated gadget to replace the bat just means you need both instead of one that does both. If you want a specialized self defense tool, there are better stuff out there with varying degree of lethality. From sprays, tazers, or indeed firearms depending on local laws and your own qualifications.
Biggest issue I see is that its bulky and awkward to carry around. You also need to wear it. A bat is something you can have lying around and grab instantly. Sprays and tazers likewise can be carried in a pocket.
As for protection, a stab vest isn't very bulky and unless during summer, aren't exacty hot to wear. I mean if you are paranoid enough to get that aluminum arm thing, a stab vest seems a better investment. For arm protection, hard to say but that is certainly not a great everyday carry. Maybe a sweater you can quickly wrap around your dominant arm would be enough to stop most knife attacks.
The spikes "kind of" make it not just defensive. Let me smack you in the face with that, see if you'd still say it's purely defensive with a half dozen puncture wounds.
This seems good enough, I think. That thing would definitely hurt, And it would defend you. That's better than no defense. It's not like you need to do much damage to deter an attacker.
How many "juSt uSE A GUn" comments will this video get? Affiliate link n case you want one for whatever reason https://amzn.to/3P7Ncr9

The best defense, is a nice .50 to the head
Great for holding a lantern at night
They can't even spell shield in the product title.

Omg that first hit with the axe handle… bro needs to get outside and chop some wood

If they make one with level 3A bullet resistance, it'd cover your vitals very well while shouldering a rifle.
Yall forgetting that most humans cant carry guns
Long range hole punch FTW
This is garbage. Everything a man needs to protect his home is a 12 gauge shotgun and that's it.

Over-kill is Under-Rated
Somebody creeping into your place, nothing says danger like a pump action. At the very least will make them retreat
Most home intruders nowadays, in the U.S at least, would be carrying a gun so, a shield like that would be almost useless anyway.

Hey it's the into theme from No Rolls Barred.
If God forbid there is a zombie apocalypse, I would want that looks pretty useful 👌
That last statement was one of the dumbest things I have ever heard.
You need one for each limb
Punching an unsecured log aint impressive
