Self Defense in the Hood | Using the Hoodie Against the Attacker
While recently in Alexandria, Virginia for a seminar, we went to some outside locations to show some self defense considerations with a bit more context. This video shows some options if someone is approached aggressively by a person wearing a hooded sweatshirt or jacket.

She is pretty and sweet-looking but looks like she can pack an ass-kicking if needed. It is always satisfying when innocent people can successfully defend themselves against predatory thugs, but it is especially a treat when a cowardly dumb thug decides to prey on someone who is a "weaker" sex but then gets fingers to the eyes, elbows to the nose, knees to the nuts, and to top it off, choked out with his own hoodie!
This has got to be the most deceptive thumbnail I've seen on a long time. I was expecting to see defenses against attackers armed with half empty 40 ouncers.

I like this. I prefer the collar and a loop choke for a finish, but this obviously seems good for combining strikes and control.
