New Self Defense 12 Gauge Ammo !

300tank says:

I have not been this excited about any product since waiting to get my
first Kimber this is the future and now because of this ammo I am not
worried about the bullent going threw walls which was my worry in my home
if we meet in a bad spot a loved one may get hit this will prevent this
almost completely.

Oath Keeper says:

To GuitarLoveTV: Your are right. There are likely tens of thousands of
shotgun depending homeowners who do not practace. This particular round
helps with this lack of practice. I don’t need this round, but I bet there
are tens of thousands who do.

GuitarLoveTV says:

Again i am not for this ammo.. shotguns are made to put out shot and have
done so very well for a longggg time. Just have no interest in this gimmick
ammo. I mean it may work but why would you pay for this? Slugs are for
going through barriers and percise shots. This ammo is just for people who
dont train and cant hit a target with in 7yds…. good video but i dont see
a very ‘practical use’ for this. I mean plywood?… what about multiple
walls? I only want a slug for barrier penetration..

Tombs Clawtooth says:

If you want the hollywood style short range spread out of 00 buckshot, get
a rifled choke tube(A rifled barrel will get too erratic of spread, just
use a rifled choke). It will scatter the shot out very quickly, and doesn’t
require special ammo. Just switch chokes out as needed or wanted, little
more economical/practical choice.

300tank says:

I ordered 3 boxes of 45 should be here by next month and now the 12 gauge
looks really cool and better for my home defense 12 gauge with 18″ barrel
these are perfect thank you for sharing

MrMudNugget says:

its a like shooting a old steering wheel out of a cannon

michelb08 says:

I would ask the question..Do we realy need such horrible an already
devestating projectile or ‘slug’ hit a ‘body’ and this new designed ‘slug’
who does even more horrible things, with a body? If someone comes into your
house to do anything other then friendly and one can’t ‘hit’ with an
excisting munition, is it not just marketing making mony on an already good
performance from any slug?

Dano Martinez says:

I love your channel! This is a great video. I watched the .40 S&W too.

asarendars says:

Brootal

Deviated09 says:

SHARED. Excellent video as always!

they do exist says:

24″ spread! You better be an even better shot than before! One of those is
almost certain to drag a wall down a hallway and throw the shot off. I
guess it may be equal to a .44mag with a parachute. Well I guess they ended
up talking about hitting a wall at least. Let’s see it.

Buffman says:

Hmm, I have two guesses for where I’ll see this next. Given you did say big
channel, and hinted at the test medium, I’m pretty + at whom it will be.
Guess we’ll hurry up and wait.

joed596 says:

I’m surprised that “Big Brother” is allowing sales of this type of
ammunition to his lower dominions, and not just reserving it for his police
state. My guess is that he doesn’t fully understand it and/or is not aware
of it yet, or that it won’t penetrate a “bullet-proof” vest. What’s your
take on this, Tom?

All best, thanks for your great videos, and thumbs up, Jersey Joe :-)

FNX Coppola says:

Ok…important question!….doese the shotgun barrel have to be
rifled???…most shotguns are smooth bore..will this work in a smooth bore
shotgun?..u need it to spin to work?…hmmm..so many misteries..lol!..but
very interesting…

XboobtubeX says:

I would like to have seen the “real” plywood as the first sheet, not the
last. those first two sheets are not what I consider plywood.

Not8upwthit says:

I believe a follow up video is in order. I found this to be very
interesting and it would seem many possibilities in this specialized ammo.
I’m very anxious to see what you might have in .410 as the Taurus Judge has
made this a very popular choice. Of course you mention 45 cal and that will
generate a lot of interest.
Thanks for sharing guys…

MadManAz says:

I have to think this ammo is also for people who have little control over a
gun but.no choice. If I left my girlfriend home alone while working
graveyard and someone tried to break in, I want to know she messed him up.
If she reaches for my 12g and misses the shot from being scared,
undertrained, tired, dark etc. There are far too many variables. I like old
fashioned guns that combined shotgun and rifle and would like something
like it, shorter, for home defense and it’s called the Taurus Judge. Now,
add these kind of rounds to a 10g and .45 longs and I’m in…

Josiah Malachi says:

I am not bashing the idea, but what if the bad guy in your home is keeping
your family member at gun point behind him? Rather have a solid bullet, and
a few buckshots.

Fergesslich says:

I am now convinced, at least the shotgun round makes a lot of sense! You
have more spread , you will more likely hit, the round is not influenced by
branches or other things like that and you always have a slug in the
middle. Also when you use a shotgun you would not clear a hostage situation
like with a .45. at least not with buckshot. But I am not convinced about
the .45 round which has no bullet in the middle and I think, the tests will
show, not enough penetration because of the low energy compared to the 12
gauge splitted up in three parts. And you may have to deal with a hostage
situation or a precise shot which will not be possible with the first round
in your magazine. I first thought that tnoutdoors9 will do the ballistic
test, but he already said under the .45 video that he won’t test the round,
hmmm…

briboarder1313 says:

well since they showed a rifled barreled shotgun this works, but I would
guess this would no way work in a smooth bore barrel which 95% of everyone
would use in self defense hence the Mossberg 500 and Remington 870

busaj383 says:

These look sweet! I’ll buy some:)

ditttch says:

This is a wicked concept, but without at least ballistic gel testing, I
don’t understand why people would buy it. Looking forward to further
testing of this ammo. Any idea when ballistic gel testing will be done?

Dallas Loffi says:

I ordered the special they had which was 5 boxes each with free shipping…
I’ve been waiting about 45 days now but I know their busy and don’t mind
waiting for an awesome new technology

McDonnell87 says:

God I wish we had a second amendment like America we have some politicians
trying to free up gun control here in aus but be an uphill battle and
violence is up 80 percent it’s why I train martial arts and why I train my
nephews keep the good fight going sir and if the NRA can do anything for
world please do so

they do exist says:

The .45acp is pure junk, sorry. This “slug” could at least be used as a
Batman leg grapple. lol That ammo may make you/them money, but may also get
somebody killed if they needed REAL stopping power.

PapaTango69 says:

While the round is a cool design and all, I was left scratching my head…
First you used smooth bore with rifled choke correct?
and the designer said the sweet spot is at 32ft. to get the full spread?
My questions is what is the sweet spot for just a smooth bore? I don’t know
many people that use a rifled choke in a self defense shotgun let alone
have a 32ft. room or hallway in their home for this round to get full
spread.
Please note I’m not knocking the product just a little concerned with
performance.

I hope tnoutdoors9 will be asked to do this review with Ballistics gel 🙂
Cheers Tom

BigO4185 says:

I went online to buy some but $60.00 for ten rounds is more than a little
steep. Let us know when the price comes down to $20.00 for ten rounds. I am
sticking to buck shot for now.

Sertan Topuzoglu says:

They need to make a version with more durable connection this will add
cutting power.

cew122 says:

The first couple of legal cases in court will be interesting. I know the
ATF has approved these rounds, but that will mean nothing in court when the
family of some criminal is killed by it. They will paint the homeowner as
some crazy gun nut. They do it now when hollow points are used.

swdfsdft says:

This looks like the hokiest POS round I’ve ever seen. This makes the
Gyrojet look like Genius.

Jason Adams says:

So how much does one of these “wonder” rounds cost?

TurboMitsubishi says:

I would like to see the MPI .45ACP and this shotgun shell fired into
ballistics gel.

GUNZandCARZ says:

That looks like a deadly round for sure. Nice video, Tom.

Keaton Eggleston says:

This seems real gimmicky. I’m all about helping small business but this
just seems over the top. Not hating.

WhatHavU says:

Nice video..

GuitarLoveTV says:

Again sorry for my honest opinion but i believe as someone else said the
money spent on this could go towards training..

Miciah Viel says:

How does this effect recoil compared to a normal 12g and 20 g?

Covinaman says:

I would like a tighter spread, and/or a longer range shot (just in case).

jacob1714266 says:

I would love to see this hit 50 gal of ballistic gel in slow motion.

Dwight Kuhl says:

I thought “Bollo” rounds were illegal? How is this different? (I love them
by the way), but could you clear this up?

MrDixieNormiss says:

I’m sure more testing will need to be done but regardless this ammo is
amazing if for no other reason than showing a fresh insight on self defense
ammo.
