Sanitys Void says:

The only provocation he was doing was putting a damper on the mob's illegal activities.

jim mckay says:

I would put my money on Kyle getting off at this point

Rebel Till Death says:

Well if they try this strategy it could become a double edge sword since the leftists are also engaging in unlawful conduct

Wrench 4it says:

Too many armchair lawyers commenting on this subject, let's just let his lawyer handle it.

Str8arrow62 says:

I tend to see Rittenhouse running away as a clear indication of his intent. He attempted to leave the threats(multiple) behind which instead pursued (what's their intent?) him the entirety of the video footage. He was retreating the entire time.

Stalicone says:

The “provocation” was putting out Joseph Rosenbaum’s pet fire. Preventing a violent felony (arson) is an absolutely legal act. He used the appropriate level of force too (a fire extinguisher).

Hobo's Corner says:

Part b is clear he tried to run away. He immediately regains it

Aeralaya says:

He can't claim self defense after he shot a man in the head and several shots into a crowd, then two guys tried to stop him. Then they kept yelling at the police saying "he (Kyle) just shot them" several times and the police just let him walk away. He also tried to flee the scene after he shot the 1st man in the head. The next two ppl he shot were just trying to stop him.

nicole stallard says:

Jury pool is going to be from Kenosha, getting an “impartial jury” that is “biased” for the prosecution from a population who just say their town burned and looted will be a big challenge for the prosecutors.

Kyle had no duty to retreat, but he did retreat, he went far beyond reasonable means.

Juries are not going to deep dive into esoteric legal crap.

They are going to judge Kyle by their believes, morals and values.

Kyle doesn’t have to prove his innocence, the prosecutor has to prove guilt beyond a reason doubt.

My gut tells me that if this goes to trial, the Jury’s BS meter will break because of the prosecutor.

Especially when that guy who got shot in the arm gets cross examined and is shredded by Kyle’s attorneys.

J3lly says:

I stand with kyle

Death From Above chadech says:

You was asked to watch and guard ANOTHER business from being burned and destroyed and putting out a fire that those "peaceful" protestors started and offering first aid to protesters. HOW DARE YOU!! THAT'S WHAT A HORRIBLE PERSON DOES THESE DAYS!??? WTH??? SMH!!

Str8arrow62 says:

What it boils down to is that we are all roof Koreans…

Austin says:

It's illegal for Kyle Rittenhouse to have any dangerous weapon, including a firearm.

natelove100 says:

I get it now!! this 17y kid went to a riot to protect himself 👍

K.C. Roberts says:

Listen to the kid's own words as to what he is doing there (the interview), and what he is willing to do (lethal rounds). He's not there to be a "medic", but he is there to use lethal force if necessary (or provoked). In brief, his presence was provocational, and he got what he was willing to do and now he's screwed. There's also a distinction between property (arson, etc.) and shooting people, but I'll leave that one to the angels of your better nature to figure out.

CC P says:

This lawyer is a tool, he knows that charge is completely bs. He's trying to make some youtube money.

chris r says:

The man was trying to take his gun, if he got it off him he would be dead.

Christophe Retana says:

The statute is clear…it pertains to Kyle…he ran away…and was cornered between two cars so even if they find him unlawful in his conduct the exception negates the first part…the gun shot pedo on his back right there fear of death…BAM…the charges won't stick…God has his back…

Gary Thompson says:

Wouldn't the fact that he was there be unlawful conduct? As there was a curfew in place. Would he be allowed to intervene in a proprety crime in progress, meaning put out the dumpster fire? He thrust himself into a dangerous situation when he jumped in , and put out the dumpster fire.

Progressive Will says:

Bro… Why are you trying to BURY the FACT that RITTENHOUSE is a MINOR?
The Wisconsin law that he is charged under makes it pretty clear that… I get that you want to advertise yourself as a stop-at-nothing defense attorney… but, trying to turn Rittenhouse's unlawful conduct into a mirage totally deligitimizes you.
