in a holster, on the body. There have been so many videos where people leave them in cars and unsecured to not be able to grab it if needed. That's why I'm not a fan of off body carry…
Leaving my gun in the holster on my body isn’t smart for my body “dimensions” I’ve got a go magnet from a company here in my hometown of Austin that drills into your car and it’s at a very good place for me to grab
I live in North Carolina and I do not have a CCPermit so I have to “Prominently Display” my pistol so I have a holster mounted to the top of my dashboard. My long Guns are locked in a drawer in the rear compartment that can be accessed in that compartment or from outside without opening the rear door of my Explorer, pretty slick if I say so myself.
I carry the exact same way during every circumstance. I use a shirt holster and carry a .380 you'd be surprised with the amount of time I put in to practicing with it. Now I can holster and put my firearm away with one hand. Not as easy as it sounds with a shirt holster lol.
Great job!! I think having his firearm out of the holster was a preemptive move to have his gun ready. Im sure he didn't want to draw if someone got the drop on him by sneaking up while he sits in a car. Police have died while doing the same thing and died with their guns in their holsters. He saved a few seconds there which may have saved his life.
yeah i disagree with you john. gun was ok where it was the whole time. it's no big deal to switch hands whatsoever. as a matter of fact one should be able to shoot with either hand so if you do that in training then its ok in the real world. good job security guy.
Unfortunate that he survived. He doesn't seem like a guy a who learns his lesson. If being a felon and prohibited possessor was not enough to stop him from owning a gun, neither will being shot. But now he has learned one thing. To not let anything get the drop on him and to hit first. He'll come back more dangerous.
OWNER AND FOUNDER u have become a self serving ASSHOLE. already lost 9 subscribers friends of mine. KEEP IT UP !!!!!
That felon saw the light of god in the darkness.

IF you need a guard, that man is likely a good choice.
you should do a video review of the shooting that happened in Wisconsin

On my person, in my holster
Strong side carry 19 hours a day
Cops will kill you if you have a gun on your person during a stop

Anyone know where to find the original video?
Defund apartment building security guards!
I say this in jest, but give it time. I’m sure it’s coming.
he lived 🙁 hate to hear it
It's probably more like 11:32pm local time since the security footage looks to be in UTC time.
Is that annoying or attention to detail? Since we're talking about such a critical incident I will go with attention to detail. 😎
Love this channel! Keep up the great work!
Yes justified

Lived after getting shot 5 times, must be 9mm!
Its always on me till I go to bed.
My firearm stays on my body while in my vehicle! Security responded appropriately but could tighten up his handling.
Hi John I love your videos and I would like to know what do you think of waist holsters vs legs holdsters for public servants
Living in Alaska ive used my pistol mounted light for thieves and animals as a civilian. It is necessary
That lucky bastard got to let the air out of that scumbag. True professional.
"How do you keep your firearm when you're in the car?"
…..
"Which one?"
