I wanted to thank you SO much for your videos. I started watching a few months ago after my now ex attacked me. He got me in a headlock on the ground and it was terrifying! I needed to have some sort of defense, God forbid I found myself in that situation again. I learned simple maneuvers like tucking my chin, and at what angles to hit in trying to loosen a grip, etc. Sadly I put these to use a week ago when he made it back to me. He tried to choke me again a few times but he never could because of what I learned watching your videos!! He still bit and punched me, and ripped a lot of my hair out (thankfully I’ve got thick hair) it sucked!! But I’m ok ish.. He is in jail now. I’m working out a plan to relocate. I just wanted to thank you Kevin🙏✌️💚
The starting sittuation seems quite different from when your guide acutally starts. It makes hell a lot of a difference to have one arm in the choke hold or being unable to breathe.
Great stuff aa always .You could easily reverse this position too by rolling them in the other direction which would put you in the dominant position in kesa/scarfhold. This would be the other basic jiu jitsu escape.

To be extra vicious, if it’s a street fight, you could pull at the ear too.
