According tout the news story, the murderer was using steroid, juice / trt are known to increase violence. Guys don't put banned substance in your bodies.
The news report said the guy was juicing; that is, taking massive doses of steroids for muscular development. Possible side effects of that stuff can make a person become violent, sometimes called "Roid Rage". The wife should have bailed out of the marriage and moved away for her own safety because of his dangerous drug abuse.
