BudgetBugout says:

Great review! Thanks for sharing! I like the shower option!

Highlander says:

do you know the blade length on this? my state has 3″ limit for concealed
blades?

BLOWIN SMOKE says:

Great Review Destinee. That looks like a handy option in a pinch.

Bringthewinter says:

Wow. This is weird. I was just looking up push daggers this morning on the
internet for no real reason, and now you have a review for one in the same
day. This really must be destiny, no joke.

Steven Walker says:

T shaped blades tend to twist in the hand, did you have any of that while
fighting that ham?

doctoreff1 says:

“Sting like a butterfly, punch like a flea.” ~ Uncle Si

Rob HVAC says:

Nice ham tenderizer.

FateofDestinee says:

What is your last line of self defense? #ColdSteel #SelfDefense #Dagger
#PushBlade #FateofDestinee

Divenity says:

Looks nice, though I kinda wish it came with a sheath/holster of some sort
so it could be carried in a more convenient manor than sticking it in a
pocket or on a keychain.

TheReturningShadow says:

And what other weapons are in your shower caddy, Destinee? Hahaha, make o
video of how quickly you can grab this from the shower caddy with soapy
hands. I bet lots of people will favorite that video. lol

chrisloUSA says:

Fighting with a knife is some nasty stuff, I hope I am never drawn into
such a situation. If I ever need to defend myself I hope it’s with my M&P
9. 1-2 shots of Federal HST to the chest would quickly stop someone willing
to do me or my family harm. A knife though is such a bad way to defend
yourself because it’s a guarantee that even if you win you’re going to be a
mess. I understand that’s last ditch and one should know how to use a knife
but thinking about it creeps me out.

Sam Harsha says:

Always gotta have a push dagger! Just ask Tom Berenger.

Daxm15e2s says:

Oh yeah good review. : )

wackattack180 says:

Awesome review Destinee !!!

dbmail545 says:

I wonder how I would react if my blind date pulled that out of her purse
with her keys. ;)

slugg63 says:

Interesting. But more of a novelty item. In an attack, you don’t have the
time to “aim” for eyes or throat. Just the abdomen. We’ve all seen and read
how many dozens of times it takes to subdue a human by stabbing. Great
trinket, but no better than a dull stick for self defense.

livinright says:

Excellent video Destinee, ty for sharing! Happy 4th-Lisa

Papa Bravo says:

I EDC a Safekeeper II inside the waistband at 11:00 on my belt. A push
dagger is an awesome defensive blade for your off hand if you are unable to
draw your firearm, or are creating space to draw. Not sure I would ever
switch to an ABS type material for my defensive blade.

I do have a Brutus the Bulldog Keychain on my D-ring, but its more for cool
factor than the idea I might actually have to use it to defend
myself…But, it is there if I need it.

turk72 says:

good points. nice to have a waterproof knife. now how many times did you
have to wash that knife for this video. My last line, is the kershaw
tremor.

moonclipper45 says:

I’ve got a couple of Cold Steel knives…2 different lengths. I’ve touched
up the edges with emery cloth. Seemed to work okay. Course, ya can’t
replace a big ol’
chip outtta the blade. And a couple “touch ups” to the edge is all ya get.
But
for the price…

When you offered the scenario of taking a shower/bath…and havin’ someone
pop in on you, that reminded me of the one scene in The Good the Bad and
the Ugly. Ol’ boy sittin’ in a tub…another comin’ in to kill him. Anybody
‘sides me
remember that one?(8-)

Great review, Destinee. And nice to see you really could use it if ya
hadta(8-).
Them things will “get meat” for sure…and cheap enough to just throw away
when yer done equalizing the threat(8-).

filmcostar says:

Excellent FoD that cold steel would make a good complement to the old
aluminum bat near the bathroom shower

allemander says:

Is it pronounced grIVory with the long I sound or grivory with a short I
sound. Sounds like GIVE or IVY?

Daxm15e2s says:

I’ve often wondered about the night shade series. I imagine it would pass
medal detectors if it was absolutely necessary of course.

TAC.Danny says:

Do they make a holster for it?… I love that It’s so small, compact, & it
can get the job done.

Exidous96 says:

Ankle carry?

NoobprepperNYC says:

good review definetly worth considering your channel is awesome btw

Peter Duffy says:

Whoa, MoD is going to kill you when she sees what you did to the Sunday
roast.

ERIC K. says:

Nice review and blade! Very well done, as you always do! And, you have a
soft and relaxing voice :)

achigurh says:

Is this a dagger which I see before me,
The handle toward my hand?
And what cut be that ham?

Edward Spencer says:

I think I would prefer a fluted spike rather than the dagger design given
the materials shortcomings as a blade material.

William Cook says:

Excellent review. I think I’ll pick two or three up next time out and
about.
Thanks for the review.

Ryan Crownover says:

Hey destiny this is Ryan my friends said they’re going to commit suicide I
don’t know if they’re kidding or not it scares the shit outta me I think
I’m going to call the police whether they like it or not

Acuraweaponx says:

Yeah I need one of those for my wife! She’d like that.

Gun Enthusiast says:

Nice review Des !! Pretty cool Push blade !!

Gun Sense (drmaudio) says:

Can I just say I think it is very cool that you have “conditioning marks”
on your knuckles.

Peter Duffy says:

Oh and by the way is see you have adopted a Falia style vid………….
;o)

MikeM0331 says:

Very nice. You should check out the lapel dagger from ITS tactical. Another
concealed EDC dagger.
Also, I would think about how much weight is on your key ring if your car
keys are on it too. I had too much weight on mine and when it’s hanging
from the ignition column it can damage it. Car wouldn’t start reliably.
Just a thought!

eric hall says:

A friend of mine has something similar to that, she loves it!!!

tiggerr42431 says:

My first intro to this type of weapon. I tend to use a semiauto, then back
it up with a single action revolver, and then have a SOG knife in my left
and a Kabar tanto folder in my right. You had good points. I tend to use my
ultimate back off me for other things than self defense like opening feed
sacks, cleaning brush off an electric fence for the horse etc. I tend to
need more uses to any tool if possible. I think my back up of a single
action is my get off me. I sometimes use a Bond derringer with 410 PDX as
my up close and last ditch. It may have only two shots but they are big and
I can hit within 5 feet with my non dominant hand. I always carry extra
ammo and on my key chain I keep a kubotan on the key ring so I have a flail
and a pressure device in one.

fiendslegacy says:

Good job, thanks!

satchmodan says:

Great review of a nifty item! Do you have a link of where one could
purchase this? All I’m seeing on Amazon is the steel variant.

Tampa Bay Blaster says:

Hiya Des, without a doubt one of your best vids ever. The shower scenario
really made me realize what women have to contend with as a scary reality.
Checkmated with a scary weapon too. You are a true champion. The suicide
prevention phone number presented by you is so stunning I wrote it down
just to have handy. Say when you check with them about a holster would
you consider the idea of a pocket clip also. Would have to draw it with
the thumb perhaps. Could even be a pocket clip on the key ring and draw it
via the ring with an index finger.

ShamelessTR says:

Pretty cool, and enjoyed your points. Just curious if you’ve gotten hold of
any Karambit style knives, and what you think of a grip with one or more
solid rings…

fsfazekas says:

I used to have a key chain that had a metal Superman emblem on it…5
points and more often than not one would be pointing in an unfortunate
direction when I stuffed my keys in my pocket and sat down! This thing
could do even more damage and I think I have some parts that are even more
tender than ham!!! However, at $7 each, I can see one in each glove box at
least. If I can figure out a way to carry it in my pocket and avoid the
self-vasectomy, that’d be great :D

Jeremiah Price says:

Great video may I ask where you got your belt ammo bracelet

Efren Torrez says:

Nice video Fate… I’m going to get one. 😉

Kevin Uchiwa says:

i prefer use only my punch, i’m too dangerous with weapons

Elmer Fudd says:

You were reading my mind! I ran across the Cold Steel cruzeing Amazon. My
first reaction was I thought it was some trainer? But the more I read and
looked ….No! They were selling them as weapons!
The clouds have parted!! I am now enlightened! ;0)

BigRedUSMC says:

Good video. I might have to grab one of these for the shower now that you
have me paranoid ;)

MountainMan1478 says:

An old hand at knife fighting here I have never really considered a
nonmetallic blade before however this video has given me food for thought
..Oh here is a tip the study of human anatomy is handy. Not just organ
placement muscle & skeletal structure but veins and artery’s. Nerves and
pressure points can be considered as well when using a blade to defend
yourself as you said Miss Destinee it is a visceral & messy thing knife
fighting but it is in my opinion just one of those things that everyone
should know how to do.
