I had to draw on an attempted robber at our local gas station a couple months ago. No shots fired, as soon as he saw my pistol he turned tail and fled. During the day too while there were half a dozen people in the parking lot.
I’ve realized being raised in the “hood” has pros and cons. The main Pro is that you always know when danger is happening& you stay prepared for situations like this. I hate how unaware people are smh
Absolutely changed my behaviors. This channel has been life changing. Mind, heart, and behavior. This woman didn't want to be rude so she didn't jump in her car and lock her doors right away when she saw them coming. She didn't want them to think she was racially profiling or being racist. That inhibition was what caused her to get robbed. Stop trying to be politically correct at your own peril. It's better that someone who is a good person thinks you are profiliing them and being rude, then to end up being shot and robbed.
Yeah, a lot of the time pumping gas I'll periodically change where I'm standing to get better vantage points on the rest of the lot. I've pretty much always looked around, but watching videos here and elsewhere I've decided it's necessary to move around a bit to ensure nobody's using the pumps to conceal their advance.

I get gas almost exclusively at Costco. Cheaper, only open during the day, always busy and attended by employees who are walking around the pumps.

taught my girls early on to not get gas after dark for these very reasons.
