Thanks for the video John. I wanted to point out one thing, keep your distance when escorting them out. If he had kept his distance with the spray in his hand none of this would of happened. Well as soon as they turned on him, he would of had the distance to take them out immediately. Kinda surprised you didn’t mention this.
The draw was good. Even could say shots would have been justified. i love the way the women in the restaurant though, are distraught at a potential shooting though. As if though the security guard would be at fault and be seen as the bad guy. Geez. our societies man. Azz Backwards.
It's funny how people are perfectly fun with two kids trying to beat the shit out of and old man but as soon as he pulls his gun to protect himself people have an issue.
1000000% in the clear no matter what state you're looking at. So many factors, but the biggest that I noted were the fact that A. he verbally warned multiple times B. He attempted to use a non lethal C. its 2 guys vs one… no matter how you look at it this was his last course of action he couldv'e taken. He didn't shoot or cause harm, just merely implied it in order to potentially save his own life. Great video as always, keep protecting your ASP!
I'd say this was pretty much a perfectly handled scenario by the security officer. Not sure what the conditions were when he pulled his pepper spray that turned it into a grappling fight over the force multiplier, so I was a little concerned that the grappling fight was gunna turn into a grappling fight over the gun, but he seemed to have created enough distance to safely draw and aim the gun, so all is well. His self control after the disengagement, however, is truly phenomenal. Anger, embarrassment, the desire to "teach them a lesson, all sorts of reasons why a lot of people would be compelled to shoot there, but he stuck to his training and used his firearm DEFENSIVELY, rather than aggressively.
Hope he doesn't have any major injuries from that fight. Stay strong, warrior.
