That is not self-defense. He escalated the situation by bringing out a gun against an unarmed man legally there to pick up his son who they wouldn't give over. This was an execution and for him to get off on self-defense is NOT justice. It is just a loophole being used to get away with an execution.
Justified but when you hear the whole context it was the father’s time to have the children 100% horrible mother and she got the father of her children killed . Yeah he shouldn’t have been so aggressive but when you hear the context you kind of understand why he was so frustrated.

This dude had him at gun point with about 5 feet of spsce between them. Furthermore despite the victom making a previous mov3 he was at that moment simply standing there. He made zero movements when the trigger happy guy shot.
