Then killed a female officer who tried to stop him at walmart. They run up and kick him right in the head when he surrenders and that plus the interrogation with him all busted up made it so he didn't get the death penalty. So being this guy didn't kill anyone a lawyer should probably be able to get a plea that doesn't include a life sentence.
Also You see the shotgun police station shootout in Detroit where a dude walked in started blasting, hit a couple officers non fatally before his GSW injuries put him down. Dude dived over the front desk like he was playing Max Payne or some shit. Cops got super lucky.
