Willie Hightower says:

This comment section has a warped sense of reality. You can’t just shoot people because you’re too sissy to engage in a fist fight. Drive off if that’s the case. Staying around brandishing a weapon because you’re scared of all the if’s in the world will land you in jail! Rethink your self defense tactics because shooting an unarmed person because you’re scared is not it.

Stoffel says:

all i see is a man defending himself from an agressor and honestly between a cop and an agressive person i'm glad the cop gets to get back to his family

B-McG says:

If I was on a jury I'd call it justified.

Scotty D says:

This is the 1st video where I have to disagree with you John. In my youth I had trained for 15years and was extremely good at it.
If this younger bigger guy ran back at me I wouldn't pull a weapon, now at 50 l would have. They were leaving then stopped to inflict some pain.. 1 punch can kill, even more so on concrete. I know that I'll get hate for this comment and if I don't know you.. I couldn't care less tbh

TryHard FinessedYou says:

2:42 So what? I'ma just take a Kung Fu kick and then….. You start putting in your hands on someone, you also simultaneously begin the process of applying for a Darwin award. One good punch/kick and hard fall can kill, maybe he could have started with a "Hey guy, don't kick me.." but play stupid games win stupid prizes. Rip to the guy.

Foxdiesolid says:

You said it yourself that firearms are to be used to defend oneself against death or great bodily harm what do you think comes from a flying crescent kick to the face by a man charging at you with all of his might even though he sees that you've exited your vehicle with a pistol in your hand to dissuade such behavior but instead of it keeping the distance it provoked this man to charge like a raging bull with complete and total reckless abandon.
And why women are the first to jump out of their car and act like they're going to go and confront someone often leading to the immediate demise of their boyfriends or husbands is just mind-boggling.
I wish we all lived in this fantasy world where all conflicts and arguments can simply be avoided by running away but the real world just doesn't work that way you can't just jump in your car and peel off every time someone confronts you

Foxdiesolid says:

ur wrong john simple as that … this dude was about to kick the face off of this officer so dont charge at men with guns .pretty simple … play stupid games.

DOGGNOSE says:

He tried to kick an armed man, instead ended up kicking the bucket 🪣

Felipe Frota says:

What's going with this channel lately ? Seriously considering revoking subscription .. now you guys advocate we take a beating once in a while to prove we are man or what ?

agould53 says:

Sounds great and all, but law-abiding citizens are not obligated to have "empty handed skills" to handle every moron who attacks them. Also not obligated to let some maniac beat their brains out. Don't attack people.

Griff Mustard says:

I'm not a Cop Supporter, but in this case I support this Cop and the action he took. Having a verbal fight is one thing, but when the guy chose to get physical, then all bets are off.
I think John is trying to make up for his bad take of the Homeowner, who was shot by a Cop, responding to an alarm.

Geneo Trexler says:

Outcome was tragic and avoidable from both men.
Whether it’s Brazil , Philly or east St. Louis running at a known angry person like that seems like it would get you shot more times than not.

Luis Florez says:

how does one know if after the kick the aggressor would stop or not try to grab the gun? mmmm this one is difficult. I agree and disagree with john in this one.

ANDY BUH says:

Não voce esta errado em seu julgamento. Aqui no Brasil o policial fez mais que o correto em mete uma bala em quem avança ofencivamente para o policial e so Deus sabe o que poderia acontecer em seguuida se derrubasse o policial

Bigsid320 says:

I don’t think you know how Brazil works. It’s not the US.

Jiminy Crickets says:

Looks like the guy went flying into the bullet not the other way around
