Armed Defender Ruins Carjacker’s Day | Active Self Protection
When the prey is armed, the predator goes hungry! This carjacker thought he had an easy mark on a nice truck, but instead he got some instant justice from this armed defender whose Active Self Protection was on point.

I think the reason people stay and get out of their car, is because they're afraid if they leave then the police will think that they're doing something wrong, and that's why they fled the scene.
John, thanks a lot for your videos on active self protection. I have been following your every video. I live in Nigeria, and your lessons on "transitional spaces/places", "situational awareness", etc are quite helpful. Thanks.
Hey, I have a question, I've seen your videos where a guy gets shot once and dies or ones like this where they get shot three times and live. Obviously hit placement matters but I swear sometimes I see where they get shot once and you say they died and I can hardly believe it, especially after one's like this where they get peppered and survive. Basically what I'm trying to ask is do you think there are other factor such as 'will to live' involved? If so, how do we use them to our advantage if possible? Thanks.
Happy New Year to all ! Great videos, remember center mass to stop the threat, head shot when that's all that is exposed. This is only my opinion! Keep the video coming.
So glad i live in a place where all of Johns tips are kinda obsolete.. I dont even lock my car when i park it in the public parkingspot outside my appartment…
I would say good shooting and you're right move the truck or lock it up immediately he still has the large sum of cash inside and while he's attending the suspect trying to secure a weapon from a guy no longer in the fight someone can still enter the truck and make off with the cash while our shooter is distracted.
Question: I was in my truck in a parking lot looking for a parking space, when I noticed 3 thugs start messing with an older man for no reason. They were talking mess to him and pretending like they were going jump him. He ignored. I was hoping nothing would happened, and thank god nothing did happen. They just left… BUT if they did start beating this man up for no reason, and I was armed with my 9 year old sister in the truck, what was I to do? What's the wise decision here? Thanks John for the videos My state is Texas
Fantastic! lock your car doors…
otherwise this would of been very different IMO….
How the F did he not raise the gun to the level of the perps head or at lease aim it up to shoot him in the head on the first shot?
I would have kicked the dirt grub a couple of times while he was down.
BLESSED NEW YEAR JOHN !
I'm a longtime subscriber and learn a lot from your advice.
What is the FIBs Factor?

Follow-up shot took WAY too long. Glad it went well for victim.
The victim never secured the thug’s gun. He just kept kicking it around like a soccer ball.
Not only covered his asp, but secured his ass. He gave him a massive taste of his balls. Hail to the king, baby.
Hey bro, I got your order here, open the door! How will you be paying today?
Hold on, let me check my holster. OK, here's payment!
Sadly he's still alive…
Longtime viewer from MA. I find all your videos thought provoking and educational. Have a safe and happy new year. Thank you.
I like it when i see em get what they deserve! Hell yeah
If you were drinking everytime he said "transitional spaces", this video only has 1
should have put a 4th bullet in his head while he was on the floor
Lesson learned, lock your car door's it gives you a chance to defend yourself.
