Doors in the USA are made of paper

trash was visiting trash

@jkreezy says:

Kudos to the husband for not shooting I guess. Guy would have had a face full of lead at my house.

@valleylift4168 says:

Only lesson to learn is LOCK YOUR DOOR.

@poplarboy7129 says:

I would also mention that it's a bad idea to have glass on exterior door doors. Especially that much.

@adrianm.hamzepour595 says:

Where is the Sonya Massey vid?

@richvail7551 says:

Where is this that an individual needs to have a gun at the ready when chilling on his couch?
He obviously knows that this is a high probability scenario and has his gun ready. I just feel horrible that this is people’s normal situation.

@Xmout says:

Need the Sonya Massey vid asap

@JimboJones-qn4wd says:

Who has a video camera inside their own home, recording their family in the lounge room watching TV and making dinner in the kitchen? Is it because the neighborhood is so violent that this is necessary because it's normal to expect people to just walk into your home?
HOT TIP, LOCK YOUR FRONT DOOR AT NIGHT!

@mikefarmer4748 says:

How do you convince people that their NOT obligated to answer the door just because someone rings it?
You have a camera, take the time to see whose there. Then it's perfectly legit to leave them standing there until they just leave.

@andersmalmgren6528 says:

That dude needs to clean his home. And is it normal for american homes to have the front door right by the kitchen? 😆

@gorgondreaz5298 says:

He clearly just got from the hospital. He looks super out of it

@breed4659 says:

First thing i do when i get home is shut my garage, lock the door to the garage, and i double check every door before bed. I have a buddy that lives in a little more rural area, and I guaruntee i could simply walk into his house right now because it is NEVER locked.

@mvlpix4419 says:

yo is it just me or does this look hella staged? like even the way they all sitting there in the beginning.
it looks like the start of a harlem shake video

@danulman8837 says:

It is very hard to believe that in today’s world someone would be stupid enough to leave their door unlocked. If that guy had a gun and evil intentions, the homeowner would have been dead before he could get off the couch and then what about the rest of his family………

@onekerri1 says:

The perp was trying to prevent his fingerprints to the door knob on his way in.

@siyabonganqayana says:

Door locking is a day thing because anyone might pretend to be family,at that time he knows he is taking a chance

@ExcuseMeWhileIWhipThisOut says:

Good video John. Maybe you can work with Secret Service Pat on how to promperly holster a pistol?

@firstnamelastname8058 says:

As an Australian a few things here baffle me…
1) At home with kids and family, not expecting anything to happen.. but has gun on self!.
Ok after reading comments and thinking a bit, I can kind of understand. But I assumed you'd just have easy access storage instead.. Each to their own in this regard, just seems like asking for an accident to me.
2) Where is the screen for the out side camera?..
A phone connection is great if your not home.. but at home shouldn't there be a screen in sight to just look at when the door gets knocked on?.. In this house I'd have it above the T.V. That guy would have seen this junkie approach before he got to the door.
3) Security screens?
Here we usually have 2 front doors.. the normal one PLUS a security screen door. I haven't yet seen one on American houses, maybe they are just less common there, I don't know. But the lack of one here leads to No.4
4) Massive window on front door rendering it insecure!.
We Do often have windowed doors, BUT the windows are mostly to small for a person to fit though, maybe there is a few small windows.. they are also stained or fogged so people cant see in or out.. but at least you can see there is a person on the other side.

Minor cultural differences, are fun to notice, maybe you see things differently and there are reasons why this house is like it is. I.E. Is this a "cheap" area or rental.. maybe most of you have the things I describe here? I am interested to find out! Thanks you if you read all this.
Stay safe kids.

@Alex.8081 says:

This guy is Lucky because any other bad guy would turned really bad!

@oldschooljeremy8124 says:

I don't think there is any time when your should leave your door unlocked. We are not living in 1940.

@Calibrownsfan says:

That door is terrible. One rock or brick clears that glass and a person can come right in even if its locked. Never get a door with a giant window

@BareTheMark says:

Biggest take away is having your family know their role. The kids should not have been standing around like deer in the headlights.

@clyde642006 says:

If you’re gonna leave your front door unlocked like that why have a door at all??!! Just put a curtain up to protect your family from druggie-knuckleheads like this guy!
