Highly recommended by a former police officer and concerned husband I’m a former police officer and I can tell you this TASER is the real deal. I purchased this for my wife prior to a solo road trip out of town. She also has a 9mm pistol and has received training in its use as well, but I feel she is less intimidated by the TASER…..and you can carry the TASER in areas that prohibit concealed carry of a firearm (at least in my state). Great Defensive Weapon. This device is quite impressive. There are a few cons that I have noticed. First, this does not have the yellow side stripes that mark it as a non-lethal weapon. This is nothing some yellow paint doesn’t fix, but this is important so that it is not confused as a firearm, which could get you shot and killed.
