How to use it: You are meant to throw the personal safety alarm into bushes or away from you in general, that way attacker either cannot find the alarm to silence it, needs to move away from you in an attempt to silence the alarm, so they do not try to go after you/attack you in an attempt to get to and silence the alarm. You WANT the alarm away from your personal body.

How to Change Batteries:

The easiest way is to twist alarm pin up or down, (like you would twist bottle cap open) until covers cracks open in the middle, you have to use some force. Don’t worry it won’t break. When you open it you see circuit board with 2 screw, batteries are under this. Open screws, turn the circuit board around and you can see the batteries and change them.
