Lots of good comments here but I'll add that I find it somewhat paradoxical that the attackers went to such great lengths to move the victim's body out of the way entirely to avoid running him over after shooting him point blank in the face.

Although probably much worse in some countries than the US, but I’m tired of seeing thugs killing and taking anything they want, no matter what it takes to get it. Businesses are even closing because there is too much crime in certain areas. The sad thing is, nobody is really doing anything to force a change in this behavior. We even chose to keep the same governors in office during the recent elections that have proven to be ineffective when it comes to crime! Yesterday I heard that 50% of murders are never solved here in the US, which is worse than any time in our history. Sorry I kinda went a little political, I’m just frustrated as I know the cops are doing everything they can with the staff and tools they have. I grew up in a time when you never had to lock the doors to your house or car, and it’s too bad it will never be that way again.
