Liam Cage says:

Very interesting. I am one of those guys with 50 years experience. I've been teaching martial arts for 35 years, training since I was 10. I worked as a bouncer in tough bars for 10 years and had been in plenty of violent encounters. I used to box and kickbox also. I still cross train in other martial arts (Judo, Jujitsu, Hapkido) because there is always something to learn.
The biggest thing I see with respect to the subject of this video is that people sometimes freeze up. I know a woman who trained martial arts for years and when she was assaulted she simply froze up. You can teach the moves (techniques) but developing the mentality and all that goes with that many people simply don't want to go there.

I See How It Is says:

Kenny looks like will smith from the side lol

John Murphy says:

I like what he said.People who've never been in.A fight in there Life, going to a Boxing Gym or Martial arts Gym, it's about learning the Skills from the Trainer's & Fighters, When your in a street fighter if . Nice. I will try to keep these ideas in mind, in case they are needed!

IanDemand says:

Anybody else here thought Kenny was Will Smith?

Nabar EGxZist says:

It definitely has value. I'll be watching the older videos and watching out for the newest ones. Thank you.

Nabar EGxZist says:

Thank you for the info.

Walter Hartman says:

it got a little better near the end… the vast majority of this video is bullshit. LIsten to the other guy and yeah, pick up some basic street fighting.

Walter Hartman says:

this is one of the stupidest videos I've seen

Walter Hartman says:

Uppercuts are easy to defend if you watch for them and keep proper distance. They can even be countered with a front kick nicely.

Walter Hartman says:

6:30:00.. LOL! If he knows real Tai Chi from ascended and authentic masters, youi're toast. You have no idea. None whatsoever. First, I can see you're suspectible to a sweep or being thrown trying to defend the sweep.

Walter Hartman says:

Nah,, you don't know what you're talking about. The other guy in the video is right. You're advocating if you don't know how to fight, don't fight? And to think for yourself? Well, you're not doing it. It's a kung fu street principle that the criminal mind will mostly target the weak and the elderly. Easier targets. If you act in confidence, can at least throw some jabs, and have a good stance, use combat breathing, deflect and block and move and counter, you stand a much better chance of survival in a dangerous situation. Like with a drunk or someone who's whacked out of their mind and they are threatening your life, your family, wanting you to lay down or come with them, or a child. Sometimes, you got to fight. Should you be ready? Of course. But if your not ready, you may have to make yourself ready with all you got and whatever you can.

Garage Bodz says:

Finally, a realistic self-defense teaching. I've been in a few real fights, no rules. Most of the techniques on the tube aren't going to work. This simple and effective method can.

bullywongs says:

really good vid

Antonio Anastasio says:

Dud I just saw your video. And you know what you are without a doubt RIGHT. I am a person who had no skills nor knowledge or to even know how to fight, I was born with a Congenital Heart Disease. My 2nd home was spent mostly in a hospital little social life. Honestly speaking if my life was seriously treated I would use a gun. Cause I have low stamina, and endurance and I get quickly fatigued. Thanks for the video and for properly educated people the right way, Not just putting content out there to make profits.

mannymanson says:

Love it! Talks and teaches real life lessons that many instructors miss when trying to teach any fighting art. They focus more on the striking and blocking than a simple common sense techniques. One of the questions I ask my students (and take them through) is what do you do once you get hit? You can stand there and cry, you can put your hands up to fight and trade shots, you can curl up and take the licks or trade blows, you can turn and run away, or put your hands out just as you've shown taking a defensive, non aggressive posture and when the opportunity arises, use your best tactic to survive the situation. That may be running, or defend and strike as described. Self defense is self defense and fighting is fighting. The two should not be confused. Thank you for clearing that up and reconfiming that lesson. Great video!

Gravel Slinger says:

Great video gentlemen! I've been in MA y street fights, both as a youth and a man; both in personal quarrels and as a matter of my prodession, and this video has enormous value!
I subscribed! See you in the next video!

Jozsef Szabo says:

Very practical and no bullshit approach. Excellent philosophy. The wrong information can and will get you killed in the street if you don`t know what you`re doing or who you`re up against.
