Aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71) fires Rolling Airframe Missiles (RAM) during an exercise. The RAM guided missile weapon system is a lightweight, quick-reaction, fire-and-forget missile designed to destroy anti-ship cruise missiles and asymmetric air and surface threats. Theodore Roosevelt is currently underway conducting a Group Sail training unit exercise (GRUSL) with the Theodore Roosevelt Carrier Strike Group (TRCSG).
