Women’s Self-defense Technique – Man Pinning Both Wrists in Mount Position

This is an 8-minute “Slice” or variation from Lesson 4 of our new women’s self-defense program, Women Empowered 2.0. The complete lesson is 62 minutes long and there are 20 lessons in total! For the first time ever, you can get certified to teach the Women Empowered program anywhere in the world! In the past, in order for someone to be considered for instructor certification in the Women Empowered program, they had to own or operate a professional martial arts school. We have since realized that in order for this program to reach women everywhere, we had to eliminate this entry barrier. Women Empowered 2.0 was designed from the ground up with this objective in mind, such that any person who successfully completes the curriculum and achieves a score of 95 or higher on the Pink Belt Test will be invited to participate in the Women Empowered Instructor Certification Program (WE ICP). Those who graduate from the WE ICP will be certified and authorized to teach Women Empowered anywhere in the world, for profit or not! Our goal is to have certified instructors in every city around the world so that Women Empowered is being offered in every fitness studio, college campus, church, military base and beyond. There are women all over the world haven’t yet found jiu-jitsu, and with your help, jiu-jitsu will find them! This is just basic Jiu-Jitsu

sleepwalkerZZZ says:

I noticed in the description that it says 2.0. Is there a 1.0? Is the 2.0 supposed to be a replacement of a possible 1.0. As I'm not sure there is a 1.0. If it is not a replacement for the 1.0 then is it the next level and not to be used until completing the 1.0. Or either can be used. Again if there is a 1.0.
If there is a 1.0 and a 2.0 are there going to be different colored belts for each. 1 & 2.

Whitaker's World says:

I'm going to help any ladies watching this right now. Your best bet is to AVOID a physical confrontation with a man if at at all possible. Unless you have a lot of training and sparring practice, AND EVEN THEN, you are likely to get owned, hurt and/or killed. Videos like this will give you a false sense of security. Fact.

j jacobsen says:

These self defense videos are such a stupid waste of time.

Xouki Long says:

Best part is 2:42… He picked off the lint off her.

Daniel Wiedenhoeft says:

You guys are awesome. So many female friends of mine gain a sense of confidence after they learn even one move that they realize will actually work on someone bigger and stronger than them. Too many of them were made to believe that they were completely powerless at some point in the past. This information is sorely needed. Thank you for helping make the world a better place.

Steve Priest says:

Teaching girls to beat up their brother since 1920

Shilodog Smith says:

Guro Billy Brown says:

And taught nothing at all to stop the attacker! I guess that psychotic rapist is just going to tap out once you land that PERFECT positional movement!, on tar and broken glass between two parked cars…..This is not self defense guys. sorry. Research real violence and train accordingly. Don t try to force arts to answer all of the combative questions that that art wasn't never designed to be asked in the first place! (with that said, great technique and explanation! Solid for a BJJ match!)

Lionel Lariviere says:

A good key point is if you are on a hard surface slamming that persons head into the ground will help your escape immensely

Hein van Rooyen says:

The one major aspect that this video lacks is the use of groin strikes. Once you are in his guard you can easily debilitate him depending on how hard you strike him in the groin. This completely eradicates the possibility of having to repeat this escape process should he get up again and pursue you further. Striking to the face and body whilst in his guard, regardless of whether he is experienced or not, poses more of a risk especially if you miss a strike or your first strike enrages him which puts you at the receiving end of his explosive energy.

Kent Peterson says:

Can you do a defense when a man dragging a woman by the hair while she's on the ground?

celow banks says:

Maybe I'm just bias this will work unexperienced guy sure better to know something rather then nothing

papadoza Emm says:

Luta livre is more savage

Matthew Viramontes says:

Quit giving women false confidence with these stupid tactics. In a real life situation, if a guy is bigger and stronger than the women and is say trying to rape her, he's either going to succeed, or beat her into submission for fighting back. It's much better to teach women preventative tactics to avoid getting into such situations, but if they do, teach them how to use a gun. Nothing equalizes variances in size and strength like a good ol pistol.
