John, nobody is trying to say that wearing Yoga pants makes assault okay. That's a a ridiculous straw man argument. The true argument is that type of clothing might make the difference between a guy like this attacking or not. Who knows, maybe it would not make a difference, but if she was wearing sweatpants, he might have ignored her
Predators have come to the realization that women are tired after a workout; or in this case, during a workout, and are more vulnerable. Beware! Glad she won the fight. Definitely need to install a panic button of some type.
Ladies, I'm no expert but I think what John meant by "eye poke" in a situation like this was burying a thump/finger to second knuckle minimum. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
Another tip would be to say “hey siri (or Google), call 911” so that you don’t have to actually dial manually, which might also be enough to dissuade him if he knows 911 is on the line and police are on the way.
Of course it doesn't give anyone the right. But i don't want to see some dude in a speedo working out either. She could have gotten the same workout in sport shorts and a Tshirt and maybe avoided the whole situation. If there are no stupid clothes, then there are no stupid times.
I'm sorry, but this all sounds staged. She is in a private apartment complex with security doors that require key cards. She holds the door open for the guy to gain access. She knows there are security cameras all over – cause it's that type of apartment complex, big money – not cheap. He attacks her, she gets away, and notifies cops. Almost immediately after, she is getting interviews with news agencies, showing her face ALL over the media and internet. As though nothing serious happened and not concerned with ANY retaliation from the suspect. This activates my "red flag alarm". Why risk having retaliation from the perp? Why risk having copy cats attack you? Why risk having someone who is full of themselves go "Oh, I could take her easy. I'll show her!"? Why take those risks for 15 min of MSM fame? Praise God she defended herself to the point he gave up! 🙏 Praise God no one was hurt! 🙏 File the police report and increase your situational awareness. Don't go on a media tour! I pray she didn't stage this just to increase her Twitter, TikTok, or Only fans pages. 🙏
@Active Self Protection most, if not all, cellphones have panic functions on them. On the last few androids I've had if I press the power button 3 or 5 times quickly it will take a picture from both cameras and a 5 second audio recording and text it to my emergency contacts along with my GPS location. It will update my location every 15 minutes for 24 hours or until I cancel it. It will also call 911 for me. Not enough people know about this function, but it's quick and easy then you can have hands free for a fight and have help on the way.
bless her, ive been watching your channel for years john and i dont think ive ever seen anything like this which is so important but a shift change at the same time
She did an amazing job getting herself out! Especially after he had her on the ground at one point, getting out of that is tough! She didn’t quit and that’s what saved her
Dude what a badass. Glad she got out with nothing but being scared. Hopefully she’s applied for her CCW. Guys like this deserve to go in the forever box.

She’s made a TikTok about it
This made me flinch I really can't believe how terrible some people are
Beard's looking great John!
If I was going to fight someone, I would go to the ice cream section of the store, not a gym.
Believe it or not , a gym is the worst place for a bullet to go flying around all the different metals there
pepper spray lady: $15 and worth it
damn she was a beast i wish i was there to help her. that is just… disgusting man
@7.20 maybe advice here would be having emergency services on some sort of speed dial with recorded audio.

She should have blinded him.
I'm saying so much equipment she could have bashed him with

Fortunate how unprepared and weak the failed attacker was
God damnit why does this clown have to be wearing a detroit redwings jersey. Fuck this guy, putting a bad name on my team

Just really impressive all the way around.
Hope he gets his in jail from a big dude… a REAL BIG dude.
3:04 "Email us, and we would LOVE to get a hold of you…" Perhaps not the best choice of words for this situation!!

she is awesome!
If she lived in the same building and recognized him then this would qualify as date rape.
It’s wiser for men and women to have separate gyms 💁🏼♂️
BUSHY BEARD JOHN!
