Ahhh the dystopian city of New York. Fun fact is that majority of the yuppies that get assaulted and or killed in NYC are mainly the ones who oppose gun ownership & support these nuts being free to roam !!! Go figure!
Amazing neither victim was killed. Knives are truly effective weapons and in hands of a skilled fighter kills at least as fast as a gun. I carry a gun because I am neither strong nor skilled with a knife. Emotionally I would find it easier to shoot someone at distance than to stab at close contact.
I completely agree with the need to carry basic trauma equipment. "Security" folks at checkpoints need to understand what a tourniquet is. I had to give mine up at a checkpoint to get into a concert. I went back to the checkpoint after the show but the "security" person AND my tourniquet were long gone.
I hope they wrap it around their neck to stop a nose bleed.
