Maintain Situational Awareness: Stay alert and aware of your surroundings to anticipate potential threats and avoid surprise attacks.
Proper Footwork: Keep a balanced stance, distributing weight evenly on both feet. This ensures stability and quick movements to evade strikes.
Guard Up: Protect your face and head with your hands, keeping a tight guard. This minimizes the risk of getting hit in vulnerable areas.
Master Defensive Maneuvers: Learn effective defensive techniques such as slips, ducks, and rolls to evade incoming punches and kicks.
Strategic Blocking: Practice blocking techniques to intercept and deflect attacks, reducing the impact and minimizing the chance of a knockout blow.
Counterattack Techniques: Equip yourself with counterattack moves to swiftly respond to your opponent, keeping them on the defensive and preventing them from landing a powerful hit.
Body Movement: Incorporate head movement, body sways, and lateral movement to make yourself a challenging target, making it harder for your opponent to connect with a knockout punch.
Distance Management: Control the distance between you and your opponent. Being too close may expose you to powerful strikes, while maintaining a suitable distance allows for better control and reaction time.
Use Your Environment: Be aware of nearby objects or surfaces that can be used for protection or leverage. Utilize your surroundings to your advantage during a confrontation.
Train Regularly: Consistent practice of self-defense techniques, sparring, and physical conditioning will enhance your reflexes, strength, and overall ability to defend against knockout attempts.
Remember, the key to not getting knocked out lies in a combination of skill, awareness, and preparation. Stay focused, train smart, and prioritize your safety in any street fight scenario.

"You need to have your hands up like this" elbows flared way the heck out, hands too far out to shield your face. Uh.. No you don't dude. That's the crappiest high guard on the internet.
Iβm a huge mma fan that all I have for credentials, but that roundhouse kick was good and can be effective in a real fight. Not sure why he made it sound pathetic.
The dude on the right has some training. He is standing in a bladed stance, he is managing the distance btwn himself and his opponent, and he executes a near perfect spinning back kick. Notice his knee is pointing down and the kick lands on target. This type of kick can end a fight if it lands in the mid section and the opponent is moving towards you. Even Mike Tyson can get blindsided out of nowhere.
Good advice here in the commentary. Thanks. I know that Dr Mark from "Fight Science" refers to three initial actions in any self defence situation, put your guard up, tuck your chin down, and drop your bodyweight.
Good video, but the guy on the right didnβt throw a roundhouse kick. Thatβs either a spinning back kick or an attempt at a spinning heel kick. Roundhouse kicks arenβt executed by exposing your back to your opponent.

Do you tuck your penis to the left or the right in preparation for a street fight?

You always need to get away quick before the police show up. Even if you were defending yourself.
