I've got dashcams in all our vehicles. Its like having a gun, better to have it and not need it. Protect yourself against false accusations if you're in a crash or just capturing a violent crime in progress. Highly recommend them except the cheap junk cams.
That was actually good aim on the opening of the gate, it looks like he was as far over to the right as he could be without hitting the gate. Not sure how durable that gate is he might have been better off blasting it instead
Im from South Africa and i guarantee you 90% of car jackings happen with the perps using luxurious cars, they usually want to use these cars during cash in transit heists
So this happened a few weeks ago, not too far from where i live. 2 things, it was a woman driving with her husband. and luxury cars are the go to cars for every hijacking, robbery and CIT heist in south africa. You will rarely see a cheap car being used….luxury cars provide more safety for them as people are fighting back as you can see. Just this morning 3 hijackers were shot dead by the victim on a major highway turnoff. Yes, they hijack you on the highway as well…..
Awareness and transition spaces .Just some thoughts .Always park face out and not face in ,he would have saved some extra time which he might have needed .The robbers didn't shoot he was lucky but if he had parked face in he could have mowed them down if they had shot towards him . Regards
