Based on this clip alone, this security is the stereotypical rent-a-cop who takes his job way too seriously & walks around w/ too much ego. There was zero need to shove the transient. He was already walking off (albeit slowly & with attitude). Same thing w/ the OC spray too. Security escalated the whole situation. Tbh I'm a little surprised he didn't shoot given how aggro he was the whole time.
That looks like chemical assault to me. Homeboy was bouncing and got sprayed from behind. Cops probably had issues with that, they train proactively to NOT waste OC on someone's back. Also, ALL security guards SAY things, no audio to the video and we're just taking his word for what was said.
My first reaction was to my natural curiosity as to why the guard sprayed him at that moment. It didn’t appeal to me as the proper moment based on the totality of the circumstances as I have observed and judged them. Now, everyone, I think we should all refrain from ANY judgements until we listen to the podcast interview of the guard. Let’s do that, then come back to discuss. Is that fair?
Shoves the guy for alleged trespassing? Then pepper sprays him while he's walking away? Escalates the confrontation to the point he's forced to draw a firearm? How is this security guard not under arrest for assault and battery?
I feel so naked now knowing that there is no armed guard at my gas station… Can this not be a new standard? Like for real…. After watching all these robberies at gas stations… It makes sence.
I want to hear what the cop said I bet they scolded the security guard f*** the police f**** royally because if they were in that situation that dude would be dead they would have blasted him on principle oh you think you can run up on a cop.

Keep up the great work Gents!!
Should have shot that shitbag when he walked at you with the rock.
Walking away with his life was the Smartest thing he did, you don't wanna die in a pool of blood riddled In bullets
Hahahaha "I have better things to do", said the Florida man
Hands off until needed. Glad you called it. Got a be frustrating. Spray/stream better.
why do we have a jailhouse then if he wasn't thrown into it?
He did his job and covered his butt.
Better than a policeman.
