Jesse Sisolack says:

I need to have some idea of who is the bad player is in the situation. That is not always very easy to figure out when you just walk into a fight. I am rather hesitant to pick a side if I do not know what the sides are. This makes me a bit slow to react sometimes, but I think it is worth it.

In this case, my first instinct walking in like that is domestic issue, and I doubt I would get into this fight. I do not know who the aggressor is, and there is a good chance no matter what side I pick, the other side might come after me too because that is how domestics work. I think I would back out of this one and call it in.

zion empire says:

You killed a man for fighting his girl , I guess ever domestics case should end like this even when it's the police beating on innocent people. I'm unsubscribing from this racist channel.

Big Joe's Show says:

In my best Harambe voice I'd tell him to stop…do that shit somewhere else motherfucker…the cops are coming and/or you're going to get shot…quit that shit…

paul grogan says:

For me….."women&children" will allways get my assistance…

Wonder Woman says:

I think your gut tells you what to do, so a lot of it will depend on how you were raised, or how you were trained. Fear can freeze you, or it can turn you into a freaking machine. My hope would be the latter.

Ken Whalen says:

That would be a tough decision unless he knew that the woman worked at the store. If the guy worked at the store it could have turned out very different. No matter what he let the guy get too close to him.

Richard Mobley says:

I don't have a hard fast rule on 3rd party encounters. I play them by ear. It depends on my physical condition, tools on me, who I'm with etc. It also depends on where I am, who I see engaging (like LE or security guards) how many baddies, how many victims…etc. It also depends on what is happening when I arrive, stepping in before the situation calls for it isn't good, and stepping in after the threat ends is just as bad. Finally the level of threat, insult vs property damage vs lose of life or limb.

With all that said, I could not stand by or turn away while someone causes great bodily harm or death to another person or group. I'd do something but I'd seek a position of advantage and survey the scene for 2nd, 3rd, etc bad guys before revealing myself.

Brian Henry says:

You see drug fueled couples in New York beating each other up all the time… same in Miami.
The police turn up and typically neither party wants to press charges. The Police of course do.

Brian Henry says:

I would have called the Police… if he had an obvious weapon … then gun fight?

Justin Riley says:

I didn't see any kids, she choose this guy its said by police that a lot of times the woman that's getting her ass kicked will turn on you and try to attack you if you try to step in. she got what she asked for let the cops deal with it. this guy that helped is a good human but he should of let this one go to risky.

Jonathan Arias says:

I personally will call the cops.

J Jimm says:

Jhon you are a bitch stop acting like you would help at all

Bungalo Bill says:

If he lives that stupid woman will probably get back with him

Travis Anders says:

No polls? I really liked those!

CR Rains says:

empty the pistol

Newtown Zombie says:

Well my firearm is for my protection and that's it. Not to sound cold hearted but with the laws and shit you have to go through anymore when using a firearm for protection it's not worth stepping in.

deez nutz says:

Any man that slaps a female around like that FUCK HIM he should have shot his bitch ass right away

deez nutz says:

MIO PHX says:

The defender was remarkably constrained with his trigger finger. Too much so. He could have easily lost his gun and been killed.

Mykal Pennings says:

I used to live in Holland and am pretty sure I've been in that store

Matt Kassing says:

If it isn't something deadly, I'm gonna walk away MOST of the time. If lives are at stake, and I feel I have a good chance at victory, I have to help. Otherwise why even carry?

Matt Kassing says:

I would almost never step into a third party encounter. If you see this same situation in an outdoor environment then you can run or draw. In this situation he had no choice but to draw. That guy was a deadly threat to the woman for sure, if not the defender himself.
