180gr bullet travelling 1200fps vs a 4500lb travelling at 50 fps…which one is going to do more damage…this was a clown posse pretending to be professionals
Being a retired police officer, i have seen more and more poor shooting from police officers. I don’t know if it is because of badge cams or what but it seems officers are shooting more, having trouble reloading and knowing when to stop shooting. I don’t even know when shooting through windshields became the norm since we were taught a bullet can deflect when going through a windshield. Departments need to invest in quality training beyond firearms. Stress decision making and communication skills are just as important as shooting at 25 yards. Its hard to conduct training when your mdc is backed up with 20 calls waiting but departments must make the time to invest in quality training. We really need to go back to Col. Cooper’s legacy of the modern pistol and rifle techniques. Police officers need training on when to shot qnd when to shop shooting.
I would be at the departments door if I was one of those civilians living on one of those streets that these arrogant idiot untrained officers were having a wild west showdown like they were trying to steal a stage coach in my front yard imagine if my kids were out there on a bike and got hit I would be there demanding these officers are fired and answers from the higher ups
All the good cops were 'defunded', then they had to hire more police so they hire them right off the streets. Believe it or not, some corrupt cities hire them straight out of jail. Gangster cops.
Oh my goodness. Officers firing out of their vehicles on a crowded street means backstops are out the window. And lieutenant Baker was in the wrong place firing at the vehicle when the other officers were in front of him. He only had that Van for his cover. I hope they review all of the body cams and train them better.
This is not good. Our police force is deteriorating into unskilled, officers lacking proper training and pay. This honestly looked like what would have happened if 15 joe blows tried to round up somebody on their own.
Mike spoke nothing but the truth. The amount of cops that ignore department policy is crazy. Shoot out in broad daylight, at a moving vehicle, while driving down the street, of a residential area. Maybe no law was broken but there were certainly department violations broken. Had no care for a back stop of any kind, hence the friendly fire.
Shooting outside the window, like it's a some kind of movie This officer was trying to catch Manslaughter charges by hitting a bystander with the bullets he gifted every sidewalk. Wow.
The backstop was houses in most of the scenarios that weapons were being discharged. That's overwhelmingly braindead. Some active warzones won't see as much ammo expended in a day as this chase did, what a bunch of noobs
ClusterF of note!

It’s like a scene out of police academy 🤦🏻♂️😂😂

Officer training is needed in NY

Where is the why are they on horses? It sounds like you should be riding horses shooting guns down a residential street people
The first word that comes to mind, Keystone. A bunch of reckless and unprepared police officers.

So this is what the cops are doing when I play GTA imagine what would happen when you have five stars gonna be like 50dead officers
The only thing missing was the music from the Benny Hill show 😂
Hes like holy shit that just hit our car. U could feel it. He acted surprised. But he already had three bullet holes in his windshield.

How many innocent citizens did these idiots kill? Fire everyone and get some sane trained officers.

Apparently their only training video was the Florida UPS shootout
They surround the car then shoot the car it's like shooting each other on purpose almost.
These cops are some of the worst ever. No excuse for any of them to have a badge. Disgraceful
Residents should fear calling this department for help.

LSPD in real life!
All these pistols not one cop that I can see used a long gun?
Anyone know why this is?
Shows you how fast things can go sideways and all training and common sense goes out the window!😮
That was both painful, and embarassing to watch..
