I have discovered an easy fix, If you can live in a nice gated community to protect your house just follow these steps, Criminals are idiots they steal because they don't have the brain power to get a job so all you have to do is put a sign on your door that says "Empty house, Nothing inside" And they will think they are being smart by walking away and not breaking into the empty house when in all reality its not empty.

I think they thought this house had drugs and money. They are a little too heavily armed for a simple home invasion.
I would get my self a different dog and leave that one out
