I find myself trying to talk to you back through my device. Thanks for your posts brother, it is thought provoking.

david USMC says:

I have heard some folks are experts at the range, but in combat situations they could not hit the broad side of a barn. And vise versa with marksman/sharp shooters.

Steve Edwards says:

Thought-provoking. Thank you, JH6.

My rifle brings all the shooters to the yard
. And they're like, it's better than yours. Dang right it's better than yours
You can shoot it, but I have to charge.

LoL Sorry had to! πŸ˜‚ Good video though

Adrian Holland says:

Great video Bro. Agree with you 200%. Sitting at bench, shooting steel at 200+ yards is nothing like going up against a bad guy, that’s coming for you or your family. Both situations takes skill, and training, Semper Fi, and God Bless.

Chance Carlton says:

Couldn't agree more. That's why I like hunting, shooting in unconventional positions and making decisions to determine if it's legal and getting the sights on them quickly and getting a clean kill with your adrenaline spiking. I notice judging range is far more important a skill than anything from the bench rest. And animals move much faster than people through the woods or air etc.

Steven Werth says:

Another Great Video "Brother In Christ" , Could not have been Said any Better . Wholeheartedly Agree with what you've Said !!! πŸ‘πŸ‘. Have A Blessed Night ….

John bellinger says:

Easy to shoot sub moa when nobody is shooting back at you. Let a puff of dirt 2 ft. Away show up next to you and see how much you can still concentrate.

My belly is just a few extra days energy supply πŸ™‚

Richard Sabo says:

Competition accuracy and combat accuracy are different, but they do have some level of skill that is transferrable from one to the other. Both are good shooting skill sets to have, but like I always say: it's about right tool for the job.

Practice for what you plan to do. For me, that's home defense, varmint @ 200 yds., and concealed weapon at short to point-blank range. Use your limited resources where they will help you the most. If your goal is to win target accuracy competitions, then by all means, sit at that bench and practice until you run out of ammo. That's just not for me.
