Those type of people aren't all the sudden going to say, "You're right and I'm sorry. I get our child over here right away for you." Best to let the police and family court deal with it. It almost certainly won't be swift justice but many judges are now sympathetic to good fathers who love their children and hold to their responsibilities. Such a sad situation. Mr. Read didn't deserve this.
Kyle introduced a Deadly level of force into a shouting match. He was under no threat of personal bodily harm, nor was the decedent's ex. I think 2nd degree Murder.
