Um.. I'm sorry but the cops could find these people if they wanted to. Phone data, auto ID, time of day, etc. Cops are picking their battles now. I had a neighbor who literally caught a guy in his house. Burglar took my neighbor's cell phone along with jewelry,etc. Jumped out a second floor window to the lower roof and left on foot. But meh, the cops couldn't do anything. Left people scared and traumatized. But meh, cops are busy. There's literally data out there that if you go after the "small" crimes you'll catch the big perpetrators who also engage in much more serious crimes.
Texas is an open carry State. I don't understand why the majority of people who can legally own a firearm do not open carry. A lot of incidents like this would be thwarted.
