Definitely an deterrent and pain compliance tool, with more serious options as well. It’s a good, effective design, although it has some drawbacks too. I’ll give you my full opinion in the review.

That's a legit reaction. The guys in Hard 2 Hurt tested it and had the same reactions and used the tip/last 4 or so inches to "whip it, whip it good" like Devo, lol. And it hurt, a LOT. Blunt force hits in the middle to bottom are still painful but more tolerable/less effective. You have the right idea, hit with the end of the cable whip it then has both the blunt force hit and the nasty sting that goes with it when used properly. Some bodybuilder tested this and the comments mentioned hard2hit and said he was overreacting. Nope, he wasn't, you proved that, in a coat no less, as did he. Bodybuilder guy was just trying to tough it out and downplay it, but the evidence across the back of his legs told a different tale. He was welted and red and not just a little red. Blood made it to the surface quite red and apparent and that's gonna leave a bruise.

I have one of those multi functional printers steel bars with a handle, never commited to a hit with it because just the weight already hurts my wrist, but a light hit in the bone already hurts quite a bit.
