Literally big dogs were designed for guarding and if you’re turning you’re dog in to a wuss or baby them into pussies people will walk past you’re dog… train you’re dog to bark at strangers at the very least… my dog doesn’t allow anyone in my house without me letting them

My friends mother had a Bull Mastiff that was soo frekin big I couldn’t bring myself to ever enter his house. I’m a dog person too but that thing was terrifying. I was always like, yeah, get your things, I’ll wait out here😂

I have made a point of locking my doors immediately but I have pretty much always done this. I had a friend who had a man see her and desire her. He found out information about her and waited at the end of the road where she got off late at night. He hid in the ditch and ran up and opened her passenger door and put a gun to her head. He made her drive to a secluded spot and raped her and beat up on her and threatened to kill her kid if she told. He had her drive him to a spot and let him out. She immediately went to the police. They caught the guy who was well known and a cop saw him drunk about 2 hours later and took him in for public intoxication figuring he was the suspect. He was correct. After the trial and sentencing (for the kidnapping, assault, rape and other charges) his mother saw my very small statured friend and apologized to her and asked to hug her. The guy's family knew he was scum but he kept getting released. My friend and all of us pushed locking your doors after that.
